Favorable Report on BAARK’s Visit to Albury Sayle Primary School, October 29–30, 2025
written by: Ms. Naria Holbert, Principal

Albury Sayle Primary School was delighted to welcome representatives from BAARK on October 29 and 30 for an enriching and highly engaging educational experience. Over the two-day visit, more than 400 students had the opportunity to interact with the instructors, who brought tremendous enthusiasm, professionalism, and warmth to every session.

The BAARK team utilized a variety of interactive formats to connect with students, including small classroom group sessions and larger grade-level presentations hosted under the pavilion. These approaches ensured that all students were meaningfully engaged and able to participate actively in the learning experience.

A special highlight of the visit was the presence of Bagera, the potcake dog, whose friendly interactions with the students significantly increased their interest and excitement. Bagera’s calm and welcoming nature helped reinforce the messages about responsible animal care and empathy toward animals, making the sessions even more memorable for the children.

Both students and staff benefited greatly from the informative presentations, which focused on caring for animals, preventing animal abuse, and exploring the option of pet adoption. The instructors skillfully delivered these important lessons in ways that were age-appropriate, engaging, and impactful.

Albury Sayle Primary is deeply appreciative of the work of this outstanding organization. We extend our heartfelt thanks to BAARK for their invaluable contribution to our school community and look forward to continued partnership opportunities in the future.
